The Association of Kenyan American Nurse Anesthetists (AKANA) is privileged to welcome Representative Huldah Momanyi-Hiltsley (Minnesota House District 38A) as a featured VIP Keynote Speaker for our Inaugural Annual Conference on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Representative Momanyi-Hiltsley is a former healthcare corporate executive at Boston Scientific and Dexcom, she brings a perspective bridging health technology, public policy, and diaspora leadership.

Dr. Christian Tekwe, CRNA, PhD, is an innovative leader in nurse anesthesia, serving as President of the Association of Cameroonian Nurse Anesthetists in America (ACNAA) and leading an independent CRNA provider support group in Houston. He holds an MSN in Nurse Anesthesiology from Drexel University (2011) and a PhD in Organizational Development and Leadership from the University of Rockies (2020). As a founding member of ACNAA in 2016, he has heavily advanced international anesthesia education, capacity-building, and high-impact conferences in Cameroon.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Tekwe is a prolific entrepreneur, author of Who Becomes a CRNA? A Tale of Two Brains, and founder of ThriveXL 360 coaching mid-career transitions. He is also the co-founder and CEO of MAZI Medical Apparel. Dr. Tekwe is deeply committed to community development, his philanthropic work spans agricultural sustainability, worker scholarships, and healthcare access initiatives in Cameroon.

Stephen is the CEO of Storehouse Financial and the managing partner of Stull CPA, LLC. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax preparation, payroll management, financial statement analysis, and regulatory compliance for our clients. Additionally, he conducts audits, compilations, financial review engagements, budgeting and forecasting, internal control assessments, and provides consulting on accounting systems and financial strategies. 

Stephen received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in finance and accounting from Texas Christian University and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. 

Stephen has held a CPA license through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy since 2013.

It is a one stop shop for all of the devices recommended for intubation and difficult airway assessment.

Spinals & Epidurals

Conference attendees will also get an opportunity to learn new tricks regarding placement of epidurals, spinals and combined spinal epidurals. Additionally, learners will walk away with knowledge on how to position patients for optimal administration of anesthetics.
